NamaYoga

union of mind, body and spirit

Nama means to bow, to lower the head below the heart in prayer to The Divine. NamaYoga is the path of deep surrender, of letting go. The meaning and essence of yoga is union — union of body, mind and spirit/essence/soul. Shakti and Shiva, the inner male and female unite into the ultimate marriage with the divine. Yoga is an ancient practice from India, which allows the body to increase the range of motion in muscle groups and joints. It is also a body-mind connection, which can bring one to higher planes of awareness. Yoga is known as the secret fountain of youth.

Sacred Union Here Now!

Spirituality is the heart of all Yoga practices. Studying spirituality, philosophy, theology is quite conceptual, like looking at photos of flowers without smelling the fragrance.

Mark will guide you from mental knowledge to an experiential reality of consciousness and the divine. Come smell the fragrance and feel the energy of the flower of your inner being through a direct experience of consciousness, your divine self.

Mark has been initiated into many lineages of this ancient tradition. Ashtanga/Power Yoga, Kripalu Yoga, Shivananda Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Contact Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Tantra Yoga, Nada Yoga and Yoga Therapy are the forms he has studied and teaches. Mark has developed and teaches NamaYoga and Indigo Yoga, a practice especially designed for children.
